Mt Hood Hiking




Mt Hood is a great place for hiking. The best guide I have found is titled "50 Old-Growth Day Hikes in the Mt. Hood National Forest". Of course, if you need more of a challenge than a day hike, there are many longer trails available. This brochure, and additional hiking information is available from the Mt Hood Information Center.

The Information Center is located at 65000 East HWY 26, Welches, Oregon, 97067. It is a great source of information for all Mt. Hood activities.
